David is a seasoned credit card strategist with over 17 years of experience in lending, spanning credit cards, personal loans, and product innovation. He began his career in the highly selective Capital One Analyst Development Program (ADP), where he developed a strong foundation in credit risk, data-driven decision making, and product o
David is a seasoned credit card strategist with over 17 years of experience in lending, spanning credit cards, personal loans, and product innovation. He began his career in the highly selective Capital One Analyst Development Program (ADP), where he developed a strong foundation in credit risk, data-driven decision making, and product optimization. He went on to serve as a fintech product leader at Oportun, managing key initiatives across product development and analytics. Most recently, he led the Credit and Debit Portfolios at Vantage West Credit Union, overseeing over $140 million in card receivables and driving efforts ranging from rewards revamps to vendor transitions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
